Blue and Gold Banquet

We had our ward's Blue & Gold Banquet this week. They have a tradition of making cakes that go along with the year's theme. This year is Happy Birthday Cub Scouts. So we decided it would be fun to make a pinewood derby cake. Notice that the BYU car won and the Utah car is falling of the track.

Another Teenager!!!

Haley turned thirteen this year! Can you believe I have another teenager? This wasn't a year for a party so Haley and I spent the day shopping. It is fun having a daugther who loves to shop!

Honor Choir

Kyle was chosen to sing with Honor Choir this year. He had to try out and only 8 kids from the school were selected to be part of this Choir. They have student's from all over Northern Utah that come and spend 2 days preparing songs to perform for this concert. I was very proud of Kyle and he really enjoyed this experience. I'm sure you can't find Kyle in the picture, but he is there. (2nd row down about the 6th from the left.)

Cousin's Party

For New Year's Eve this year Ron and I got to host a cousin's party. They had a fun time decorating Gingerbread houses, playing games, and doing a white elephant gift exchange. It was different not having any plans of our own. (Next year is our turn.)

Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas. This was the first Christmas we have had by ourselves. Usually we have at least one set of Grandparents with us. (We missed having them) The kids were all very happy and excited about their presents. Especially their traditional Christmas P.J.'s from Grandma Naylor.
